6. Also it should be noted that in order to ensure continued <br />compliance the state can and does do random surprise <br />inspections of schools from time to time. So we must continually <br />insure our facility, our staff, our operations and our paperwork <br />always comply with state regulations. <br />7. We will also be providing a lunch time for our 11:40am children <br />and then an afternoon snack for all students in the program. Our <br />snack we provide is in accordance with the health and safety <br />code. <br />8. At 5:30pm the students dress out into their street clothes and are <br />allowed free time which is directly visually supervised by our staff. <br />The site director, John Pfund positions himself at the front door <br />area to greet arriving parents and sign them out to the parents <br />which is required according to state law and the policy of the city <br />of Pleasanton planning department. <br />9. Our program closes at 6:15pm <br />10. OUR PROGRAM WILL GENERATE NO PARKING ISSUES: DURING <br />SCHOOL DAYS OUR CHILDREN ARE BROUGHT TO THE ACADEMY <br />BY OUR 14 PASSENGER VAN AND DODGE DURANGO (IF NEEDED) <br />THEREFORE THE ONLY VEHICLES THAT WILL BE AT THE ACADEMY <br />DURING THE DAY WILL BE THE DODGE DURANGO, THE VAN, AND <br />2 OTHER EMPLOYEE VEHICLES. IN THE EVENING AT 5:30-6:15PM <br />WHEN PICK UP OF CHILDREN OCCUR OUR PARKING LOT IS <br />VIRTUALLY EMPTY. AND THE PARENTS ARRIVE AT STAGGERD <br />TIMES. WE MAINTAIN AN EXCELLENT RELATIONSHIP WITH OUR <br />NEIGHBOORING TENNENTS AND IF IN THE VERY SLIM CHANCE <br />THERE IS EVER A PROBLEM WITH PARKING WE WILL QUICKLY <br />RESOLVE IT WITH OUR NEIGHBOORS, HOWEVER IN ORDER TO <br />SATISFY THE CITY OF PLEASANTON WE WILL AGREE TO WHAT <br />SEEMS TO BE A STANDARD CONDITION OF APPROVAL FOR OUR <br />TYPE OF BUSINESS: <br />a. If operations of this use permit result in conflicts <br />pertaining to parking, interior noise, traffic/circulation, or <br />other factors, at the discretion of the Planning Director, <br />this conditional use permit may be submitted to the <br />Planning Commission for their subsequent review at a <br />public hearing. If necessary, the Planning Commission <br />may modify or add conditions of approval to mitigate <br />such impact, or may revoke the said conditional use <br />permit approval. Possible mitigation measures may <br />include, but are not limited to, reducing the number of, <br />students, modifying the hours of operation, or other <br />measures deemed necessary by the Planning <br />Commission. <br />
