Cs <br />upon our initial scope of work, a separate proposal, schedule, and budget will be 9seo-3w~ <br />submitted for your approval, if desired. pi 9zs asa . %~~ <br />f ~ 925.J81.533E <br />kleinfelder.com <br />AUTHORIZATION <br />The terms and conditions of the agreement between the City of Pleasanton and <br />Kleinfelder, including the limitation of liability, are an integral part of the agreement. <br />To authorize us to proceed, please sign where indicated, make a copy for your files, <br />and return the entire proposal to us. <br />If there is a need for any change in the scope of services or schedule described in <br />the proposal or in the standard contract, please call us immediately. Changes may <br />require a revision of our fee. <br />This proposal will remain in effect for 45 days from the date shown on the proposal. <br />All information gathered during the study by Kleinfelder is considered confidential <br />and will be released only upon written authorization by the City of Pleasanton, or as <br />required by law. California law requires a person to inform the state if a situation is <br />encountered that can be considered- an immediate endangerment to the public's <br />health or welfare and/or to the environment. <br />WORK SAFETY <br />The safety of our employees is of paramount concern to Kleinfelder. You will be <br />notified if the location of your project represents a potential safety concern to our <br />employees. Unsafe conditions for fieldwork will require a modification of our <br />estimated scope of services and associated fees. We will advise you of the <br />additional costs necessary to mitigate these unanticipated conditions, if applicable. <br />CONDITIONS AND UNDERSTANDINGS <br />The proposed scope of services and fee estimate are based on the following <br />assumptions: <br />• The City will provide Kleinfelder with prompt access to the site. Arrangement for <br />site access, including right-of-entry, will be the responsibility of the City. In <br />addition, any known information regarding the presence of hazardous materials <br />at the site (other than the reports already provided to us) should be made <br />available to us prior to the start of work on the site. <br />• Before drilling or excavating on-site for our studies, the City should accurately <br />locate all utilities and utility easements and the information must be made <br />available to Kleinfelder at least five working days before beginning our field <br />investigation.
