The soil and groundwater samples will be analyzed on a standard turn- around time of 1 to 2 weeks. If desired, the turnaround time can be expedited for an additional fee. Additional Environmental Site Assessment Report Kleinfelder will compile the chemical test results and prepare data summary tables. We will compare the results to relevant regulatory criteria and guidance. The scope and results will be compiled in an Additional Environmental Site Assessment report. The report will include our conclusions regarding the extent of petroleum related impacts to soil and groundwater, and our recommendations for further action, if any, at the Site. The report will also include a site plan showing soil boring tocatlons, boring logs, data summary tables, and the laboratory analysis reports. Three copies and an electronic copy of the report will be provided for your use. Upon your approval, the report will be submitted to ACEH and the State Water Resources Control Board Geotracker website. FEE AND SCHEDULE Kleinfelder will perform the described scope of services on atime-and-materials basis in accordance with the attached Bay Area Region fee schedule. Our fee estimate to perform the scope of work described herein is $35,000 (thirty-five thousand dollars), in accordance with the General Conditions specified in our previous proposal dated February 22, 2007. An approximate break down of our estimated fee is as follows: Addendum to Workplan $2,700 Soil Borings $24,500 Reoortina $7.800 Total $35,000 We are prepared to begin work on this assignment immediately upon receiving your authorization to proceed, and obtaining permission to enter the site. The above- described scope of work may require approximately 6 to 8 weeks to complete, depending on site access constraints, approved permits, and the availability of our drilling subcontractor, but we will attempt to complete the work sooner if possible. We will provide you with a verbal report of the field activities and analytical results upon receipt of the laboratory reports from the State-certified analytical laboratory.
