Commissioner Narum stated that she believed the reference to Lot 1 on the second <br />line of page 8 should be to Lot 6. Ms. Decker confirmed that was correct. <br />Commissioner O'Connor referred to the first sentence of the fourth full paragraph on <br />page 14 and stated that he believed he did not make the statement. Ms. Decker <br />said staff would verify from the tape. <br />Commissioner Fox stated that she believed she had mentioned at some point during <br />the meeting that the earlier City records show that the property was pre-zoned to <br />Q (Quarry) and noted that she did not see this mentioned in the minutes. Ms. <br />Decker replied that she would have staff verify this. <br />Commissioner Fox inquired if this item has been considered by the City Council. <br />Ms. Decker replied that it did. She added that the City maintained the Q zoning for <br />the site and did not process a rezoning to A or P District. <br />Commissioner Narum moved to approve the Minutes of July 23, 2008, as <br />amended. <br />Commissioner Olson seconded the motion. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Blank, Fox, Narum, Olson, and Pearce. <br />NOES: None. <br />ABSTAIN: None. <br />RECUSED: None. <br />ABSENT: None. <br />The motion passed. <br />b. August 13, 2008 <br />Commissioner Fox noted she was not present for the meeting of August 13, 2008 <br />and would abstain from voting on the Minutes. <br />Chair Blank noted the word "knows" in the first sentence of the first paragraph <br />following "The Public Hearing was Closed" on page 11 should read "known" and <br />requested that the correction be made. He further requested that the phrase "at the <br />beginning of the meeting" be added after "that he talked to Mr. Lemoine...." <br />Commissioner Narum advised that the second sentence of the last paragraph on <br />page 15 be modified to read as follows: "She recommended keeping fencing as <br />open as possible and would not like to see six-foot tall masonry or wood privacy <br />fences." <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES, September 10, 2008 Page 2 of 33 <br />
