The applicant shall utilize other noise mitigation measures to meet the recommendations <br />of the noise study. Construction modifications, such as diaphragmatic wall construction <br />to control the interior noise levels may allow a reduction in the STC-rated windows. The <br />noise mitigation measures shall be reviewed by a noise engineer and is subject to the <br />review and approval by the Director of Community Development, prior to building permit <br />issuance. Compliance with the City's noise standards shall be achieved. <br />26. RVs, trailers, campers, 5'" wheels, motor homes, boats, or other recreational vehicles <br />are prohibited from being parked or stored on-site; and that these conditions shall be <br />disclosed by restrictive covenant to the future homeowners. <br />27. The proposed project shall be a "green hom~with a minimum of points in each category <br />(Resources, Energy, and IAQ/Health) require for a Certified Rating. The applicant shall <br />strive to achieve the 105 points for each home as outlined in the initial checklist <br />submittal. Exceptions may be permitted at the discretion of the Director of Community <br />Development. The green building measures shall be shown on one of the first two <br />pages of the plans submitted for issuance of a building permit. Each point identified shall <br />have a notation showing which sheet the item can be found. A special inspection by a <br />representative from the Planning Division shall be coordinated with regards to <br />landscaping, irrigation, and exterior materials. All of the green building measures <br />indicated on the approved checklist shall be inspected and approved by either the City of <br />Pleasanton, a qualified specialist, or the applicant shall provide written verification by the <br />project engineer, architect, landscape architect, or designer. <br />28. The applicant shall implement the following measures in the design and construction of <br />the approved residential structures, to provide roof-mounted photo-voltaic systems in the <br />future: <br />a. Electrical conduit and "pull-strings" shall be installed from the roof/attic areas to <br />the building's main electrical panel(s). <br />b. Roof trusses shall be "engineered" to handle an additional load of five-pounds <br />per square foot beyond that of the load anticipated for roofing. <br />c. An area shall be provided near the electrical panel for the "inverter" required to <br />convert the direct current output from the photovoltaic panels to alternating <br />current. <br />d. A bi-directional electrical meter shall be installed at such time any photo-voltaic <br />panels are installed. <br />These measures shall be shown on the building permit plan set submitted to the Director <br />of Planning and Community Development for review and approval before issuance of the <br />first building permit. The building developer shall provide the necessary information and <br />the plans delineating how the photovoltaic panels are applied on the roof, prior to <br />issuance of a building permit. The roof-mounted photovoltaic systems shall be <br />physically and visually integrated with the structure's roof materials and design, e.g., <br />surface mounted, low profile, etc., to the satisfaction of the Director of Planning and <br />Community Development. <br />29. All exterior lighting including landscape lighting shall be directed downward and <br />designed or shielded so as to not shine onto neighboring properties. The project/building <br />
