Staff suggests that cooperative <br /> efforts be undertaken first; if City <br /> monitoring involvement is necessary, staff <br /> would come back before your Council with a <br /> subsequent recommendation. <br /> <br />Committee <br /> Recommendation: 2) COORDINATE ALL DATA IN YEARLY FORMAT. <br /> <br />Staff Analysis: Staff agrees. Zone 7, Hacienda Business Park <br /> and the City Water Department could easily <br /> forward results of water quality monitoring <br /> for use as a resource at City Hall. <br /> Periodically water quality information is <br /> required as a resource; coordinating all the <br /> separate data being generated by numerous <br /> jurisdictions would be invaluable to the City. <br /> There would be nominal fiscal impact to the <br /> City as a result of this recommendation. <br /> <br />D) NOISE QUALITY <br /> <br />Committee <br /> Recommendation: 1) EVALUATE NOISE ELEMENT SPRING 1986. <br /> <br />Staff Analysis: Staff agrees. If the EMC is reappointed, it <br /> should work with staff in designing noise <br /> monitoring program. Ad hoc monitoring has <br /> taken place in conjunction with various north <br /> Pleasanton EIR's. A regular program would <br /> continue to ensure that noise levels continue <br /> to be met along the City's major streets. If <br /> staff, in conjunction with the EMC, determine <br /> that additional noise monitoring is required, <br /> then staff would report back to your Council. <br /> There would be no fiscal impacts to the City <br /> as a result of this recommendation at this <br /> time. Some costs may occur at a later date, <br /> depending on the ultimate program the City may <br /> choose to adopt to monitor noise. <br /> <br />E) TRAFFIC QUALITY <br /> <br />Committee <br /> Recommendation: 1) MONITOR 17 INTERSECTIONS BY JULY 1, 1986. <br /> <br />Staff Analysis: Staff agrees and is working to "debug" the 10 <br /> intersections now on-line.
