throughout the planning area and considered all reports, <br /> documents, testimony, and recommendations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Negative Declarations were adopted for the proposed <br /> changes covered in the above applications; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to make comprehensive changes <br /> to the Land Use/Circulation Elements of the General Plan <br /> at this time as one of the four times during the <br /> calendar year such changes may be made; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the application of Matilda and Mildred <br /> Teixeira for amendment to the Land Use Element of the <br /> General Plan to redesignate an approximately 15 acre <br /> site located on the south side of Vineyard Avenue and <br /> east of the terminus of Chardonnay Drive from "Low <br /> Density Residential" to "Medium Density Residential", <br /> subject to the condition that only three units per acre <br /> be allowed on this property. (GP-85-5) <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL VOTE: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood <br /> and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Section 2: Approves the application of Pleasanton School <br /> District, Amador Savings and Loan and Chris Beratlis for <br /> an amendment to the Land Use Element of the General Plan <br /> to redesignate the approximately 1.2 acre area <br /> immediately west of the Beratlis residence from "Medium <br /> Density Residential" to the "Low Density Residential" <br /> District, and the approximately 1.2 acre area at the <br /> southwest corner of the Beratlis property be changed <br /> from "Low Density Residential" to the "Medium Density <br /> Residential" District, said 2.4 acres located on the <br /> north side of Crellin Road immediately east of the <br /> residences on the east side of Sylvaner Drive and 600 <br /> feet southeast of Chardonnay Dive.
