Prepare a comparison of leading proprietary systems such as Field Turf, SportEx, Italgreen, and Mondo, to evaluate estimated lifespan, health-related concerns, player safety, and other fac[ors identified by City Staff. Prepare a written summary for Staffs use. 1.12 Site Schematic Design Prepare up to three concept plans to establish the scope of construction and arrangement of program elements. Explore alternative concepts for the overall site composition, site architecture, vehicular access and parking, and other major design determinants. Research other examples and precedents. Gather appropriate design images for display. Develop concept drawings for any custom site elements. Prepare illustrative cross sections and sketches as necessary. 1.13 Architecture Schematic Design Prepare preliminary archixectural plans, sections and elevations based on input from Staff Review Meeting. Prepare up to xhree alternatives for Stadium design integrating the seating alternatives with potential shade structure alternatives. 1.14 Civil Plans Prepare schematic sewer/water, staging, roadway (on and off-site), parking lo[, and drainage plans. SD plans will include plan view only of each utility, along with callouts for the beginning pipe invert and ending pipe invert. The roadway plans will include 2 spot design grades every 100', and parking lo[ will include two spot grades for each row of parking. The pipe layouts for sewer, water and drainage will include generic symbols for structures but not construction details. Civil plans will also include the layout of the joint trench, with references to electrical plans for a) conduit arrangements within the trench, and b) electrical transformers / cabinets. ].1 S Product Research Research options for pre-manufactured site furnishings, lighting fixtures, building structure, interior and exrerior materials, shade structure options, and other products.
