He didn't think that hazazdous <br />materials will be a concern, but wished to add a condition that the applicant would take all reasonable <br />measures to avoid the release of toxic materials during operations. He also thanked the azchitects for <br />providing so much visual information. PUD-96-13-1D, Reynolds & Brown, La-Z-Boy Furniture Store <br />Mr. Iserson reviewed the history of the application, noting that the subject site was originally planned for <br />a stand-alone restaurant. He also reported that La-Z-Boy Furniture Store is currently at Pleasanton <br />Squaze I. He further described the proposed building design as well as the delivery and pick-up azea. <br />Mr. Iserson noted that a concern with the location of the trash enclosure azose during the application <br />process. Staff recommended that it be moved away from the street and the applicant agreed. <br />Mr. Iserson further stated that since the site was originally contemplated for a restaurant, there is more <br />than sufficient parking. However, staff has identified concern with some of the parking spaces along <br />Johnson Drive in the way they aze angled. Staff has, therefore, requested that one of those spaces <br />between the angled and 90-degree spaces be removed in order to prevent the potential of automobile <br />accidents when cars are entering/exiting spaces. <br />Staff feels that the design is compatible with the rest of the businesses in the Center.
