<br /> from freeway interchange at State Route 580 southerly to the
<br /> intersection of Valley Avenue.

<br />4. West Las Positas Boulevard, widening and improvement from Santa
<br /> Rita Road west to the centerline of the Southern Pacific
<br /> Railroad right of way. West Las Positas Boulevard widening and
<br /> improvement to a four-lane road from 1-680 east to Hopyard Road.
<br />
<br />5. Stoneridge Drive from centerline of Arroyo Mocho Canal east to
<br /> Rheem Drive, as a six-lane road.
<br />
<br />6. Pimlico Drive realignment as a two-lane roadway from Santa Rita
<br /> Road east to Brockton.
<br />
<br />7. Johnson Drive widening to a standard width roadway along the
<br /> 1-580 frontage.

<br />And the improvement thereof by clearing, grubbing, excavation,
<br />grading, removal of existing trees, shrubs and structures and the
<br />construction therein of base, pavement, curbs, gutters, sidewalks,
<br />where required, street signs, street monuments, surface and
<br />subsurface storm drainage, where required, facilities for
<br />channeling, merging, striping, i~urning and controlling traffic,
<br />where required, in accordance with the requirements of the City of
<br />Pleasanton by the construction of curbs, median islands, cables,
<br />pipes, electrical. conduit and traffic signal systems where required,
<br />landscaping, inc].uding sprinkler and irrigation systems, where
<br />require~, pedestrian pathways, including all structures and other
<br />facilities necessary to make said area useful for the purpose for
<br />which intended,.where required, water transmission storage and
<br />distribution facilities including mains, valves, tees, fittings,
<br />services and fire hydrants, where required, sanitary sewer mains,
<br />manholes with manhole frames and covers, cleanouts and laterals,
<br />where required, underground serviced street lighting facilities, gas
<br />transmission and service facilities, where required, underground
<br />electrical power distribution and service facilities and underground
<br />communication transmission and service facilities, soundwalls, and a
<br />traffic monitoring system including detector loops, controllers,
<br />interconnect cable, computer, and software therefor, at various
<br />locations in North Pleasanton, together with all appurtenances to
<br />any of the above.

<br />
<br /> The construction and installation of state highway improvements
<br /> described below, together with the acquisition of necessary lands
<br /> and easements for right-of-way, appurtenant utilities, landscaping
<br /> and the opening of new streets at all intersections where required.
