<br /> Scope of <br />• List of local facilities, such as the Hacienda Business Park Services <br />and the Alameda County fairgrounds, that should be <br />contacted and reseazched during the project; <br />^ Current Planning Annual Report Information Systems <br />("PARIS") documents submitted to the CIWMB; <br />• Corrections to the Disposal Reporting System as requested <br />or submitted to the CIWMB; <br />^ Maps of the City's service area, showing jurisdiction <br />boundaries and streets; and <br />^ Time extension request(s) submitted to the CIWMB. <br />R3 anticipates reviewing the document request list as part of the <br />Project Kick-Off Meeting. <br />Task 1.2 Project Kick-Off Meeting <br />We propose to facilitate a Project Kick-Off Meeting with R3 and <br />City staff, and other interested parties to review the scope of <br />services, schedule, and the document request, and to discuss <br />communication protocol. <br />Task 2: Residential Diversion Activities <br />R3 will work with City staff and PGS to collect and analyze <br />residential diversion tonnages from the following areas: <br />• Residential diversion achieved fiom mixed waste <br />processing at the materials recovery facility operated by <br />PGS; <br />^ Residential green waste and food waste collection; <br />^ Residential drop-off and buy-back recycling centers; <br />^ Christmas tree recycling programs; and <br />^ Local recycling activities including fundraisers by Boy <br />Scouts or Civic groups. <br />Task 3: Commercial Diversion Activities <br />R3 will identify the lazgest businesses and institutions in the City <br />based on number of employees and the type of business, and <br />document the known diversion tonnages of the largest generators <br />via telephone surveys. Sites that may provide some potentially <br />high diversion tonnages include lazge employers and lazge retail <br />stores. R3 will particulazly tazget materials which comprise the <br />lazgest portion of the City's commercial waste stream. <br /> IZ3 <br /> Page 3 <br />
