Scope of • List of local facilities, such as the Hacienda Business Park Services and the Alameda County fairgrounds, that should be contacted and reseazched during the project; ^ Current Planning Annual Report Information Systems ("PARIS") documents submitted to the CIWMB; • Corrections to the Disposal Reporting System as requested or submitted to the CIWMB; ^ Maps of the City's service area, showing jurisdiction boundaries and streets; and ^ Time extension request(s) submitted to the CIWMB. R3 anticipates reviewing the document request list as part of the Project Kick-Off Meeting. Task 1.2 Project Kick-Off Meeting We propose to facilitate a Project Kick-Off Meeting with R3 and City staff, and other interested parties to review the scope of services, schedule, and the document request, and to discuss communication protocol. Task 2: Residential Diversion Activities R3 will work with City staff and PGS to collect and analyze residential diversion tonnages from the following areas: • Residential diversion achieved fiom mixed waste processing at the materials recovery facility operated by PGS; ^ Residential green waste and food waste collection; ^ Residential drop-off and buy-back recycling centers; ^ Christmas tree recycling programs; and ^ Local recycling activities including fundraisers by Boy Scouts or Civic groups. Task 3: Commercial Diversion Activities R3 will identify the lazgest businesses and institutions in the City based on number of employees and the type of business, and document the known diversion tonnages of the largest generators via telephone surveys. Sites that may provide some potentially high diversion tonnages include lazge employers and lazge retail stores. R3 will particulazly tazget materials which comprise the lazgest portion of the City's commercial waste stream. IZ3 Page 3
