2. Sewage Connection Fees. County will pay a connection fee of $2,900.00 <br /> <br />per RDE for 308 connections. The total connection fee of $893,200 is due and <br />payable upon County's acceptance of the improvement described in Paragaph 1 above <br />and constructed in accordance with plans and specifications. Said connection fee <br />comprises County's prorated share of City facilit'ies plgs City's share in the <br />expansion of LAVWMA and DSRSD facilities. <br /> <br /> 3. Sewage User Charges. County will pay to City user charges based on <br /> <br />the costs of providing sewerage service to the CSA. Said user charges shall include, <br />but are not necessarily limited to, prorated costs of operating and maintaining the <br />West Pleasanton Interceptor Sewer, the DSRSD sewage treatment plant, the LAVWMA <br />export facilities and administration. User charges shall be based on a revenue <br />program approved by the State. <br /> <br /> a. Service fees for Castlewood Country Club shall be based on <br /> City commercial restaurant rate (flow based on 280 GPD per <br /> RDE) and shall be considered to be equivalent to 41RDE. <br /> Residenial dwelling units within CSA shall be assumed to be <br /> "single-family residential units." <br /> <br /> b. In the event City adopts a revenue program which includes a <br /> demand charge f~r sewage capacity reserved and/or purchased <br /> but not flowing, said charge shall be based on the total <br /> capacity reserved for the CSA in this Agreement. <br /> <br /> c. The County will be billed for user charges every two (2) <br /> months in accordance with City's standard billing for sewer <br /> service charges. <br /> <br /> d. User charges will be based on the RDEs actually connected. <br /> County will notify City within thirty (30) days of new <br /> connections to the system. <br /> <br /> 4. Method of Payment. The sole source of funds for payment by County of its <br />obligations described herein shall be grant funds and those funds raised through <br />the CSA. County agrees to cooperate with City in assuring that funds are available <br />to meet the payments required in a timely manner. Each fiscal year, County agrees <br /> <br /> <br />
