a
0
City of Pleasanton
,~ i. ~ _ a
Twice monthly, the MIS generates a Project Effort Report showing actual effort expended by task.
This internal control allows us to make, on a timely basis, any adjustments that may be necessary to
maintain your schedule and stay within your budget.
Cost control is achieved through two independent processing systems within our MI5 program that
we integrate to provide a complete financial and report overview of each individual task, as well as
the entire project. Project managers and task managers receive status reports twice each month as
to the costs associated with the project. This level of tracking allows us to control project budgets
and To keep our clients fully informed of the administrative aspects of each project.
The Kimley-Horn team's approach to providing services is to anticipate challenges and issues up
front and To develop a work plan to minimize and eliminate critical elements within the project. Early
identification of critical issues will result in a successful project delivery.
Project, Mantagement Tools
Our approach to providing the services for various assignments will be based on a methodical and
logical approach to the services at hand. Jim
WesF will be the primary point of contact for the City. As our client liaison, he
will maintain a broad overview of the ongoing needs and objectives of the
City and, from that perspective, will be best able to direct staff efforts as
needed.
The Kimley-Horn team will provide quality performance through assigning
only team members with expertise in the specific area of interest to the tasks,
and will provide quality control and assurance through ongoing and frequent
communications between the Project Manager and the City of Pleasanton.
When circumstances
constrain your vision,
Mr. West and the
Kimley-Horn team
will provide technical
and management
solutions that will
help the City of
Pleasanton reach its
project goals.
Ct~iality ControVC~iality Assurance
IV.
