M A 5 T E R P L A N F O R T H E D P T S
Above:
Section at
Arroyo Green at Main.
Below:
Plaza, ramp, and stairs
at Arroyo Green at Main.
The Master Plan recommends making the
purchase of the next door property to the east a
priority, since adjacent to that (and further to the
east) is a lot currently owned by the City. This
would allow for more expansion of Arroyo Green at
Main than that shown in the Master Plan.
PARK EXPANSION
Possible design elements for park expansion
include public restrooms, electrical outlets, lighting,
lawn, shade structures, benches, bike racks, drinking
fountain, and a public telephone.
PLAZA AREA
Concrete paving should be light strength
vehicular concrete, with special treatment, such as
color, scoring, banding, etc. Paving should be
integrated into overall park design with same or
complementary patterns, colors, etc. as paving in
stairs, ramps, or other areas. Special paving may
include such materials as brick, stone pavers, or
pre-cast concrete.
Plaza improvements, including a bus shelter,
should be of compatible design with bridge design
improvements.
(ARROYO GREEN AT MAIN
52
