A small public plaza would be located <br />at the corner (intersection of Vervais Dr. and Main <br />St.). This plaza would be the entry to the Arroyo <br />and the creek trail, via both a broad stairway and a <br />generous ADA-compatible ramp. <br />The Master Plan recommends a bus shelter along <br />the short Main St. frontage. This structure should <br />be designed in such a way as to provide good sight <br />distance for cars turning right onto Santa Rita Rd. <br />from Vervais Dr. Another structure (identical, but <br />not a bus shelter) is proposed for a location directly <br />across Main St. These two would form an entry <br />statement, marking the entry from the north into <br />the downtown area. <br />A 12-space parking area would be located on <br />Vervais Dr., with a lawn area, shaded by flowering <br />trees, between parking and plaza.
