Mr. Michael Fulford <br />Landscape Architect/Inspector <br />November 14, 1986 <br />Page Two <br />B Construction Document Phase <br />1) Upon approval of above and when authorized, preparation of complete <br />Working Drawings for the project based upon the Scheme and Scope of <br />Work selected by the City. This could include several separate bid <br />packages to separate Phase V from other elements to be completed in <br />the existing park. <br />2) Prepare and furnish final specifications in Standard City Format. <br />3) Prepare and furnish Bid Documents. <br />4) Submit five (5) complete sets of drawings at 60% and 100% completion. <br />Submit five (5) copies of Final Specs for staff review at 100% point. <br />5) Prepare and furnish final Cost Estimate with detailed breakdown of costs <br />and recommended prioritization and phasing of elements not included in <br />this bid package. <br />6) Provide 60 sets of Plans and Specifications. <br />7) Provide sepia mylar reproducibles of the Construction Document set. <br />8) Assist City in packaging the Bid Set and in answering questions and <br />developing an addendum during the bid period. <br />C Construction Administration Phase <br />1) Perform Field Construction Staking. <br />2) Assist City in reviewing bids and give recommendations regarding Add or <br />Deduct alternatives included in the bid <br />3) Assist City Inspector by attending weekly field meetings to clarify intent <br />of plans and to assist City Inspector in supervision of the project. <br />4) Attend all pre-final and final inspections to assist City Inspector in <br />achieving a successful and approved park project. <br />5) Assist City Inspector in completion of all reports and documents related <br />to the project. <br />D Alternative Construction Administration <br />1) Perform Field Construction Staking. <br />2) Assist City in reviewing bids and give recommendations regarding Add or <br />Deduct alternatives included in the bid. <br />3) Perform regular (up to three per week) field inspections and act in behalf <br />of the City as Inspector. <br />4) Perform review and approve all contractor submittals and shop drawings. <br />5) Perform regular consultation with City staff during Construction Phase <br />for plan interpretation and processing of routine change orders. <br />6) Set up pre-final and final inspections, prepare punch lists and recommend <br />to City final approvals of project. <br />7) Assist City in obtaining As-budt plans from Contractor and in completion <br />of all reports and documents related to the project. <br />
