November 14, 1986 <br />Mr. Michael Fulford <br />Landscape Architect/Inspector <br />Department of Public Works <br />Pleasanton, CA 94566 <br />Re: Exhibit "A" <br />Scope of Services do Fee Proposal <br />Pleasanton Sports Park -Phase V <br />Dear Mike: <br />N ~`~ 1 g 1986 <br />KEN ARUTUNIAN <br />RAYMOND TEN <br />TARA GEE <br />As a result of our meeting of Wednesday, November 12, 1986, and at your request, <br />we herein submit our Scope of Services and Proposed Fee Schedule for the above <br />referenced work. <br />We understand that the consultation on this work will include Site Analysis and Resource <br />Collection, Review of Program, Preliminaries, Master Planning, presentations to Citv <br />Staff and Public Boards, Detailed Planning and Construction Document preparation and <br />assistance in awarding of Bid and Construction Administration. We further understand <br />that this work is to begin as soon as a contract can be agreed upon and approved by <br />the City Council and will continue through completion of construction, estimated at <br />sometime late in 1988 or early 1989. <br />AKA Inc. Scope of Services <br />A Preliminary Design and Master Plan Phase <br />1) Review program and goals with staff. <br />2) Collect background information and complete Site Analysis and Resource <br />Collection. <br />3) Complete Topographic Survey of Phase V and immediate surrounding areas <br />and prepare map of topography and existing facilities. <br />4) Review all of above with staff and modify/refine as per input. <br />5) Based on above and on Parks ac Recreation Commission final program, <br />develop a minimum of three (3) Schematic Plans representing a range of <br />program solutions and costs for Phase V area. Also include Schematic <br />Recommendations for facilities in exisitng parts of park as per the program. <br />6) Prepare detailed Cost Estimates and breakdowns for each of the options. <br />7) Prioritize project elements and define options. <br />8) Present Schematic Plans and Report with Cost Estimate and Recom- <br />mendations to staff and to Parks ~ Recreation Commission for review. <br />9) After review and when requested, refine Schematic Plan and Report and <br />resubmit Master Plans and Recommendations for final approval by <br />Commission and City Council. Include with submittal twelve (12) copies <br />w/Mylar of Final Plan. <br />Note: A maximum of six public meetings are included in the above. Additional <br />public meetings will be billed as Extra Work at the hourly rate listed in <br />Exhibit A.
