November 14, 1986 Mr. Michael Fulford Landscape Architect/Inspector Department of Public Works Pleasanton, CA 94566 Re: Exhibit "A" Scope of Services do Fee Proposal Pleasanton Sports Park -Phase V Dear Mike: N ~`~ 1 g 1986 KEN ARUTUNIAN RAYMOND TEN TARA GEE As a result of our meeting of Wednesday, November 12, 1986, and at your request, we herein submit our Scope of Services and Proposed Fee Schedule for the above referenced work. We understand that the consultation on this work will include Site Analysis and Resource Collection, Review of Program, Preliminaries, Master Planning, presentations to Citv Staff and Public Boards, Detailed Planning and Construction Document preparation and assistance in awarding of Bid and Construction Administration. We further understand that this work is to begin as soon as a contract can be agreed upon and approved by the City Council and will continue through completion of construction, estimated at sometime late in 1988 or early 1989. Scope of Services A Preliminary Design and Master Plan Phase 1) Review program and goals with staff. 2) Collect background information and complete Site Analysis and Resource Collection. 3) Complete Topographic Survey of Phase V and immediate surrounding areas and prepare map of topography and existing facilities. 4) Review all of above with staff and modify/refine as per input. 5) Based on above and on Parks ac Recreation Commission final program, develop a minimum of three (3) Schematic Plans representing a range of program solutions and costs for Phase V area. Also include Schematic Recommendations for facilities in exisitng parts of park as per the program. 6) Prepare detailed Cost Estimates and breakdowns for each of the options. 7) Prioritize project elements and define options. 8) Present Schematic Plans and Report with Cost Estimate and Recom- mendations to staff and to Parks ~ Recreation Commission for review. 9) After review and when requested, refine Schematic Plan and Report and resubmit Master Plans and Recommendations for final approval by Commission and City Council. Include with submittal twelve (12) copies w/Mylar of Final Plan. Note: A maximum of six public meetings are included in the above. Additional public meetings will be billed as Extra Work at the hourly rate listed in Exhibit A.
