Air quality is a factor in the City's <br /> Environmental Review process. Projects which generate <br /> high levels of air pollutants must incorporate air <br /> quality mitigations in their design. <br /> <br /> a.10. Finding. Coordination of air quality planning <br /> efforts with other local, regional and state agencies <br /> will help to mitigate the regional impacts on air <br /> quality. <br /> <br /> a.ll. Fact. The City will incorporate the provisions of <br /> ABAG's Bay Area Air Quality Plan and BAAQMD's Air <br /> Quality and Urban Development Guidelines into the City <br /> Planning and project review procedures. <br /> <br /> a.12. The City will cooperate with the BAAQMD to <br /> monitor pollutants in the Tri-Valley area and will <br /> notify regional jurisdictions of proposed projects which <br /> may affect regional air quality. <br /> <br /> a.13. Significant Effect. Land uses proposed for the eastern <br /> slope of Pleasanton Ridge and the Southeast Hills may allow <br /> residential structures in areas of high landslide potential <br /> and with drainage and erosion problems. <br /> <br /> a.1. Finding. Mitigation measures incorporated into <br /> the project will substantially lessen the effect of <br /> landslides, and drainage and erosion problems. <br /> <br /> a.2. Fact. See Section I (Land Use) a.8. <br /> <br /> a.3. Finding. The new designation of Rural Density <br /> Residential clarifies land use policies and will protect <br /> the most sensitive slopes. <br /> <br /> a.4. Fact. See Section I (Land Use) b.4. <br /> <br /> B. Significant Effect. A major seismic event on the <br /> Calaveras Fault could cause widespread structural damage. <br /> <br /> b.1. Finding. The Proposed Plan contains measure to <br /> minimize the effects of a seismic event. <br /> <br /> b.2. Fact. The City will comply with the provisions of <br /> the Alquist-Priolo Act. <br /> <br /> <br />
