06080 Pavement Recycling Design Proposal -3-

PERSONNEL TO BE ASSIGNED TO THE PROJECT

One or more of the principal staff engineers, whose resumes
are attached, will be assigned to the project along with
other personnel, as needed, to complete all necessary tasks
within the 35 day time period agreed upon. Mr. Gerald
Evans, our specialist in lime and asphalt treatment will be
the principal investigator and project manager.

SERVICES REQUIRED OF THE CITY

Copies of all plan~ sheets, documents and reports concerning
the history (design and construction especially) of the
various streets. A scale map of the street system would be
very helpful.

A pickup and driver to provide traffic control during
DYNAFLECT testing and sampling operations.

Traffic Index or ADT and percent trucks information for each
street.

COST OF SERVICES

The following estimate of costs is our judgement of a "not
to exceed" total. CHEC practice is to bill actual man-hours
and related costs so the total costs may be less. If some
unusual factors develop which may cause an increase in costs
beyond the "not to exceed" total, they will be discussed
with the City before the costs are incurred.

1. DYNAFLECT Testing
a) Travel and Calibration
3 hrs. @ $65/hr. $ 195

b) DYNAFLECT Operation
4 hrs. (min.) @ $200/hr. 800

c) Test data preparation 200

d) Traffic Control (if CHEC does the work)
4 hrs. @ $65/hr. 260

DYNAFLECT Subtotal $1455

2. Field Sampling - 6 test holes
8 hrs. @ $95/hr. $ 760

3. Laboratory Testing Allowance
a) R-value and Expansion
Pressure Analyses
3 @ $210/ea. 630
