Electric Rule No. 20 (Electric Conversion Rule), a copy of which is <br />attached and made a part hereof. PGandE shall also remove the existing <br />overhead electric facilities owned by PGandE in the District as shown on <br />Exhibit "A". PGan~E shall not be required, however, to discontinue <br />overhead service to any customer until such customer shall have rearranged <br />his electric facilities to enable him to take underground service. PGandE <br />shall be excused from any delay in performing any of its obligations <br />hereunder occasioned by the failure of any customer to do so. <br /> <br /> 5. City shall pay PGandE, prior to the furnishing of any work of <br />materials relating to the portion of the Electric Facilities described in <br />Section 4 hereof, the nonrefundable sum of $52,536 for the removal of the <br />existing overhead facilities and their replacement with underground <br />facilities as provided in Section B of the Electric Conversion Rule. <br /> <br />6. PGandE shall furnish and install street lighting facilities <br />(except bases and poles installed by City) within the District as shown on <br />Exhibit "A" in accordance with the provisions of PGandE's Schedule LS-lC, a <br />copy of which is attached and made a part hereof. <br /> <br /> 7. City shall pay PGandE prior to the furnishing of any work or <br />materials relating to the Street Lighting Facilities, the nonrefundable <br />amount of $307 which represents the cost of internal wiring for 5 poles <br />($65) and the material cost of 640 feet of excess conductor ($242). City <br />shall install and deed to PGandE 1,020 feet of 2 inch street light conduit <br />valued at $4,288. <br /> <br /> 8. In accordance with the Class C rates of Schedule LS-1, or such <br />other schedules as may hereafter be applicable for service to such a street <br />lighting system, City shall be responsible for service to such a street <br />lighting system, City shall be responsible for the monthly service charge <br />for all Street Lighting Facilities installed hereunder. <br /> <br /> -3- <br /> <br /> <br />
