Any Street Improvement Plan must contain a Signature Block for <br />the City Engineer, in addition to the signature block on the <br />Grading and Utility Plan. The Street Improvement Plan must also <br />be signed by a Civil Engineer, prior to final submittal for <br />approvals. Please note that the Civil Engineer's signature block <br />on improvement plans must be accompanied by his/her stamp with <br />his/her license expiration date shown or written in. <br /> <br />I. Engineer's Estimate: An estimate must be;prepared by the <br />developer or his representative of the cost of the onsite <br />improvements. The estimate must include the costs of all items <br />outside of the building which will be inspected by the City of <br />Pleasanton, including, but not limited to: <br /> <br /> 1. Grading and Paving. <br /> 2. Concrete curb and/or curb and gutter. <br /> 3. Sidewalks. <br /> 4. Decorative Paving (in parking lots only). <br /> 5. Drainage facilities including manholes, catch basins <br /> and storm pipe. <br /> 6. Sanitary sewer pipe, manholes and cleanouts, sampling <br /> manholes. <br /> 7. Water facilities including fire hydrants, backflow <br /> preventors, fire department connections, post indicator <br /> valves, domestic water lines, etc. <br /> 8. Erosion Control Facilities. <br /> 9. Landscape Planting and Irrigation <br /> 10. Onsite Electrical lighting. <br /> <br />As previously pointed out on page 6 of this manual, the estimate <br />must be itemized, unless approved by the City Engineer to be lump <br />sum. The estimate will only be allowed to be lump sum if it is <br />supported by actual construction bids or contracts. <br /> <br /> 10 <br /> <br /> <br />
