D. One (1) copy of the Erosion Control Calculations. E. One (1) copy of the Hydrology Map. The Engineering Department will not begin checking any of the plans or calculations unless all of the items are included in the submittal. Upon completion of first plan check, the Engineering Department will return to the submittor one set of red-lined prints and calculations if any changes must be made to the plans or calculations. If there are changes to be made, two prints of any plan sheet so revised must be resubmitted, along with the City check print. When the plans and calculations are in order for City approval, the original drawing containing the City Engineer's signature block (see signature blocks on page 9 of this manual) must be signed by the Architect/Engineer who prepared the plan before the City Engineer will sign it. It should be noted that no part of the proposed onsite water system may be shown on the plan at this stage. Additionally, a completed application for Grading Permit (which are available from the Engineering Department) must be submitted along with the Grading Permit Fee (See page 8 of this manual and Exhibits "A" & "B"). After the City Engineer has signed the plan, three full size prints of the approved plan must be submitted. At this point, the Building Department will issue a Grading Permit. For Final Site Approval: As part of the required package for first plan check to the Building Department, the following items must be included for review by the Engineering Department. Any items which may have been submitted for the Grading Permit need not be resubmitted if they contain no new information. 1. Two (2) complete sets of prints of the Site Plan, Grading and Utility Plan, Landscape Planting and Irrigation Plan, Erosion Control Plan (if necessary) and Street Improvement Plan (if necessary). One (1) extra print of the Grading and Utility Plan. 2. One (1) copy of the Soils Investigation.
