E. The City of Pleasanton will determine what social service is <br />available in the area, through the local agencies, for the residents. <br />This will include agencies such as Red Cross, United Way, etc. where <br />the residents can go for help plus activities offered in the area. <br />All other activities will be the responsibility of the City of <br />Pleasanton. <br /> <br />F. In addition to the responsibilities of the Pleasanton Housing <br />Authority Board and the City of Pleasanton as listed above, <br />additional duties are as outlined in the management agreement. It is <br />anticipated there will be no overlap in responsibilities except by <br />design. <br /> <br />G. The City of Pleasanton, as the manager will be paid, as outlined <br />in the management agreement, from rental and other income. The <br />project will pay for, out of the operating account, expenses incurred <br />by the project such as on-site office overhead, staff to do project <br />work, maintenance costs, and etc. The City of Pleasanton will <br />provide subsidy to the project to the extent required to provide a <br />balanced budget. <br /> <br />PERSONNEL AND STAFFING ARRANGEMENTS <br /> <br />A. City of Pleasanton housing practices shall conform to equal <br />opportunity requirements without regard to race, religion, color, <br />national origin or sex. It is anticipated that the ethnic <br />composition of the on-site staff will be comparable to the ethnic <br />composition of the project and the community. <br /> <br />B. Project staffing needs of Kottinger Place are as follows: <br /> <br /> PERCENT <br /> POSITION OF TIME MONTHLY SALARY <br /> <br /> Director 5% $ 4,732 <br /> Housing Manager 50% 18,900 <br /> Government Bldgs. 5% 2,184 <br /> Mainte. Mechanic 75% 19,800 <br /> Custodian 25% 6,165 <br /> Park Mntn. Worker 50% 16,000 <br /> Account Clerk 5% 1,350 <br /> Accountant 5% 1,890 <br /> Manager Aide - free apartment <br /> <br />These needs will be re-evaluated 90 days from the commencement date <br />of this agreement. Any changes will be made at that time based on <br />three (3) months of operation and the project needs. <br /> <br />C. Personnel Policies, Procedures, Benefits Grievance Procedures <br />are: All personnel will be employees of the City of Pleasanton and <br />subject to City of Pleasanton personnel policies and contracts. <br /> <br /> - 2 - <br /> <br /> <br />
