designated Native American burial area in the proposed Adobe <br />Park. <br />In addition, the DEIR sets forth, on pages 83-85, ten <br />additional recommended mitigation measures proposed to comply <br />with CEQA Appendiz K recommendations for preserving or reducing <br />impacts on archeological resources. These additional <br />mitigation measures include the on-site preservation of the <br />archeological site to the mazimum eztent feasible, and a test <br />ezcavation and other measures if such on-site preservation is <br />not feasible. <br />2. Findings. <br />a. This City Council finds that the <br />Project would have no significant adverse impact on historic <br />resources, based upon the DEIR's conclusion to that effect. <br />b. with respect to archeological <br />resources, the City Council finds that the ten mitigation <br />measures proposed to comply with CEQA Appendiz K, and set forth <br />on pages 83 through 85 of the DEIR, will substantially reduce <br />the impact of the Project on archeological resources. The City <br />Council finds that compliance with these measures as a group <br />shall be a "Condition of Approval" of the Project. <br />c. The City Council finds that the above <br />stated mitigation measures together with the other measures <br />incorporated into the Project and the mitigation measures which <br />will be imposed in connection with future approvals necessary <br />for development of the Project site, have mitigated or will <br />41 <br />
