Facts. <br />The DEIR indicates at pages 79 through 81 that the <br />Project site contains a burial ground, remains from a large <br />Native American village, a Native American rock art site, the <br />historic Alviso Adobe, and buildings from the Meadowlark <br />Dairy. The DEIR states at page 81 that the Alviso Adobe is in <br />sound condition. The Meadowlark Dairy buildings are <br />considerably decayed and any physical remains of the dairy have <br />little value, as noted on page 81 of the DEIR. The DEIR <br />concludes that the Project would have no significant adverse <br />impacts on historical resources, and notes on page 82 that <br />subsequent development of the project site would protect the <br />Alviso Adobe, preserve the Native American rock art site on the <br />Project site, and thus provide benefits for historical <br />preservation in the region. <br />With respect to the archeological resources, the DEIR <br />sets forth three general mitigation measures which are <br />incorporated into the Project, including provision of the 1.7 <br />acre greenway space, avoiding development of Project site areas <br />containing archeological resource, and reburial of any human <br />remains which may be recovered from the archeological site in a <br />40 <br />
