which would operate at a level of service "E" during the <br />afternoon peak hour, as summarized on page 54 of the DEIR. <br />The Project incorporates 12 mitigation measures which <br />are described on pages 56-57 of the DEIR, with certain <br />revisions to mitigation measures no. 9 and 10 contained on <br />page 5 of the final DEIR. These mitigation measures include <br />reservation of land for right-of-ways, proposals for the <br />conf#~ur$ton o~certain intersecEions; public transit stops, <br />bike ways and pedestrian paths, and other measures which will <br />be more specifically determined during the PUD development <br />process. <br />In addition, the DEIR proposes eight additional <br />mitigation measures numbered 13 through 20, and appearing on <br />page 57, and the Final EIR proposes one additional mitigation <br />measured numbered 21 on page 8. These additional recommended <br />mitigation measures are as follows: <br />Measure 13: A southbound left-turn lane and a <br />northbound left-turn lane to be added to Foothill Road at its <br />intersection with Bernal Avenue; <br />Measure 19: A traffic signal to be provided at the <br />intersection of Foothill Road and Bernal Avenue; <br />Measure 15: The Project developer to contribute to <br />the reconstruction of the Bernal Avenue bridge to four lanes; <br />Measure 16: Double left-turn lanes to be added to the <br />westbound approach of the I-680 southbound ramps.
