Shop Drawings and Submittals <br />The CONSULTANT will assist the CITY during construction by checking shop drawings, and <br />reviewing materials submittals for the bridgc and electrical work as required by the project <br />specifications. <br />4. Clarify Contract Documents and Respond to RFI's <br />The CONSULTANT will assist the CITY during construction by clarifying and interpreting <br />bridge and electrical contract documents to ensure that the project is constructed in accordance <br />with the plans and specifications, and review and respond to ItFI's regarding bridge and electrical <br />work. <br />5. Change Orders <br />The CONSULTANT will provide advice and technical support for construction change orders to <br />the bridge and electrical plans and special provisions and prepare change order documentation to <br />include, where appropriate, changes in plans and specifications, and additional details to the <br />bridge and electrical plans and special provisions. <br />6. Construction Meetings <br />The CONSULTANT will attend construction meetings set by the CITY to answer issues raised <br />during construction related to the bridge construction and the electrical work. It is estimated that <br />attendance at these meetings will occur at the CITY's request, at the construction sitc. <br />CONSULTANT has allocated 8 meetings for this task. <br />7. Resident Engineering (By CITY] <br />Resident engineering will be provided by the City. <br />8. Record Drawings <br />Preparation of the record drawings is not included in this proposal. <br />ASSUMPTIONS <br />The following assumptions were made in generating this proposal. Deviations from these <br />assumptions could result in additional work by Biggs Cardosa Associates, which is not included <br />in this proposal. <br />
