City of Pleasanton <br />February 27, 2008 <br />Page 2 <br />I. Review & update (if needed) the electrical special provisions due to the changes <br />in the code. <br />J. Coordinate with PG&E to obtain restrictions for working in the vicinity of the <br />234kV lines. These requirements will then be included into the project <br />specifications. <br />K. Coordinate/verifytyith utility companies regarding the conduits that may <br />be required to be carried on the bridge. <br />L. Revise the quantities and unit prices in the engineers estimate for Bridge, <br />electrical, traffic signal, and signing and striping items of work. <br />M. Submit 90% Plans, specification, & estimate for the bridge, electrical, traffic <br />signal, and signing and striping work. <br />N. Respond to City comments on the structural, electrical, traffic signal, and signing <br />and striping drawings, specifications & estimate. <br />O. Submit final plans, specification, & estimate for the bridge, electrical, traffic <br />signal, and signing and striping work. The final plans, specifications & estimate <br />will be submitted to the City by April 7, 2008. <br />CONSTRUCTIONSUPPORTSERVlCES <br />These services will include administration, assistance during bidding, attending meetings, <br />reviewing contractor submittals and RFI's, assisting in the preparation of the addenda, clarifying <br />the contract documents, and assisting with change orders. <br />1. Administration <br />Construction administration may consist of the following: <br />A. Prepare monthly invoices. <br />B. Employ and monitor subconsultants. <br />C. Close and archive the project records at the end of the project. <br />2. Bidding <br />The CITY will advertise the project for bidding and distribute the plans to prospective bidders. <br />The CITY's project coordinator will be the designated person to receive contractor inquiries. <br />CONSULTANT'S project manager and project staff will assist the CITY as requested during the <br />bidding. The work may include answering questions, providing consultation and interpretation <br />of the construction documents, and assisting the CITY in preparation of addenda to the PS&E <br />during the advertisement period. <br />
