City of Pleasanton <br />February 27, 2008 <br />Page 4 <br />Finalize Contract Documents Assumptions <br />1. Overall Project Management will be performed by the City. <br />2. All structure plans will be drafted using AutoCAD. <br />3. City to locate the new 230kV underground PG&E line & all other utilities placed <br />since the completion of the original project survey. The City will use <br />Underground Service Alert {USA) & a survey crew or other practical means to <br />locate the existing utilities. The City will provide BCA with a CAD file <br />containing the "Ultimate" layout line and the location of the 230kV line & all <br />other underground utility lines near the bridge. <br />4. For changes the City makes to sheets originally produced by MBr.S, NUVIS, or <br />G.S. Dodson's, the City will make the needed revisions to the corresponding <br />sections of the Special Provisions and the affected items in the estimate. <br />5. Finalizing the contract documents does not include redesigning the bridge <br />footing to avoid convicts between the 230kV line and the proposed bridge <br />foundation. <br />6. The City will update the unit cost of ail the Civil and Landscaping work in the <br />estimate. <br />7. City will make the updates needed (if any} to the 1992 based roadway and <br />landscape Special Provisions (SSP's). <br />8. City will prepare the special provisions for the traffic signal, & signing & striping <br />items of work. <br />9. City will provide base plans including proposed improvements in AutoCAD. <br />10. City will provide available information, such as as-built drawings. <br />Construction Support Assumptions <br />11. The City will provide construction support for all the Civil/Roadway, Landscape, <br />Water and Sewer lines work, including the review of all roadway landscape, & <br />sewer line shop drawings, submittals, RFI's, and clarifying and interpreting of <br />contract documents (including sewer line connections to existing bridge). <br />I2. The hours listed for BCA in task 2 (construction support), can be reduced if BCA <br />is also providing the inspection services. <br />DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTIONSUPPORT FEE <br />Biggs Cazdosa Associates, Inc. proposes to perform the above scope of additional services for <br />the additional fee as outlined below. We will not exceed these fees without your prior <br />authorization: <br />
