Identify needed improvements for pedestrian connectivity. Identify good <br />candidates for future pedestrian enhancements such as curb extensions, <br />and roadway medians. Recommend standards for installation of <br />crosswalks. Identify varying levels of pedestrian accommodation based <br />on area type such as residential, industrial, or commercial district. <br />d. Setting of Goals, Policies, and Objectives Based on Public Meetings <br />and City documents, provide detailed goals, policies, and objectives that <br />are needed to guide future development of bicycle facilities. Ensure <br />consistency with MTC's Routine Accommodation Policy. <br />Provide goals, policies, and objectives that are needed to guide future <br />development of pedestrian facilities. Ensure consistency with MTC's <br />Routine Accommodation Policy. <br />e. Bicycle/Pedestrian Collision Analysis Perform Bicycle and <br />Pedestrian Collision Analysis and provide report on findings. <br />Bicycle Collision Analysis -The City of Pleasanton will provide 5 years <br />of bicycle collision data. Analysis of collisions should include but not be <br />limited to such factors as crash location & type, primary collision factor, <br />parties involved, age, and time of day. Compare collision statistics to <br />regional and statewide trends. Based on analysis, recommend <br />countermeasures for 5 specific high collision locations. Recommend <br />procedures for periodic analysis of collision data and information sharing. <br />Make recommendations for practices to improve and facilitate bicycle <br />education, safety, and enforcement. <br />Pedestrian Collisions -The City of Pleasanton will provide 5 years of <br />pedestrian collision data.
