(e) "EACCS Coordinator" means the authorized representative of the Steering <br />Committee as further described in section 4(e)(2) and 5(b) below. <br />(f) "Funding Partners" means all of the following: Alameda County Flood Control <br />and Water Conservation District, Zone 7 ("Zone 7"), County of Alameda ("Alameda <br />County"), Alameda County Congestion Management Agency ("ACCMA"), City of <br />Livermore ("Livermore"), City of Dublin ("Dublin"), and the City of Pleasanton <br />("Pleasanton"). <br />(g) "Contract Administrator" means the entity as set forth in greater detail in <br />section 5 below. <br />2. BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE OF THIS AGREEMENT <br />(a) The Funding Partners and Wildlife Agencies recognize that development of <br />EACCS will require extensive cooperation among such agencies, and will require the <br />retention of one or more consultants to perform required services. <br />(b) The purpose of this Agreement is to establish protocols for funding and <br />contract administration for consultant support services to develop the EACCS. <br />3. TERM <br />This Agreement will be fora 24 month term or as maybe extended or earlier <br />terminated upon mutual agreement of the Funding Partners. <br />4. FUNDING, CONSULTANT SELECTION AND CONTRACT <br />ADMINISTRATION OF CONSULTANT CONTRACT(S) AND RELATED <br />ACTIVITIES <br />(a) Total costs for the completion of the EACCS are currently estimated to be <br />$400,000 in consultant costs to prepare the EACCS in three phases. <br />(b) The consultant contract(s) shall be divided into three (3) phases and the <br />Funding Partners collectively have committed to funding the consultant costs associated <br />with Phase 1 of the EACCS in an amount not to exceed a total of $150,000 in the <br />following amounts: <br />Livermore $32,500 <br />Zone 7 $32,500 <br />Dublin $30,000 <br />Alameda County $20,000 <br />
