Deductive contract change orders in the amount of $185,249 were a result of a net <br />decrease in the contract quantities due primarily to the removal of Black Avenue <br />between Greenwood Road and Loganberry Way. This section was removed because of <br />a trench failure which has since been fixed. This removed section will be <br />reprogrammed for future resurfacing once trench failure areas have been corrected. <br />Staff will submit an invoice of $367,000 to the Alameda County Congestion <br />Management Agency for reimbursement when CMATIP funds become available in late <br />2008.
