Ho, P.E. <br />The City of Pleasanton <br />January 30, 2008 <br />Page 2 <br />Engineer will conduct these design coordination meetings including providing <br />agenda, presentation material, and meeting minutes. <br />Deliverables: <br />• Agenda and meeting meetings (electronic). <br />2.0 CEQA, Utility Coordination, & Permitting: <br />2.1 CEQA: PGS&J will provide services as asub-consultant to assist in this task. <br />The scope of work is included as Attachment E. <br />2.2 Utility Coordination: Engineer will contact affected utility companies and obtain <br />their existing utility information for incorporation into the design documents. <br />Engineer will also attend meetings with utilities to coordinate design as required. <br />Utilities assumed to be affected by this project are PG&E, Pacific Bell, Zone 7, <br />City sewer, and City water. Engineer shall prepare application for new PG&E <br />service (does not include application fees). <br />Deliverables: <br />• PG&E new service application. <br />2.3 Permitting: Engineer will coordinate and obtain City building permits (City will be <br />responsible for permit fees) for incorporation into the Contract Documents. The <br />incorporation of any other permits is not included in the budget. Since level of <br />effort is unknown at this time, a suggested allowance for performing task has <br />been included in the proposed budget. <br />Deliverables: <br />• City Building Permit. <br />3.0 Land Acquisition: <br />3.1 Land Acquisition: Associated Right of Way Services (AR/WS) will provide <br />services as asub-consultant to assist in this task. The scope of work includes: <br />• Appraisal and acquisition consulting related to obtaining permanent <br />and/or temporary easements from CalTrans. <br />Deliverables: <br />• Easements <br />4.0 Field Investigations: <br />4.1 Survey: Towill will provide services as asub-consultant to assist in this task. The <br />scope of work includes: <br />• Ground control survey necessary for photogrammetric mapping of the <br />pump station site. <br />• Location of the property boundary and existing easements as indicated <br />within Preliminary Title Report provided by the City. <br />H:\Final\Pleasanton_WCO\Contract\RevisedTasklLetterHo.doc Page 2 Of 6 <br />
