Ho, P.E. <br />Project Manager <br />The City of Pleasanton <br />200 Old Bernal Ave. <br />Pleasanton, CA 94566 <br />Subject: Wastewater Pump Station S-6 -Project No. 012027 <br />Dear Mr. Ho: <br />EXHIBIT "A" <br />This letter is per your request for a proposal to design the Wastewater Pump Station S-6 - <br />Project No. 012027. <br />BACKGROUND <br />The City of Pleasanton's Wastewater Master Plan, prepared in March 2006 by Carollo <br />Engineers, identified existing wastewater Pump Station S-6 as having capacity deficiencies for <br />pumping future wet weather flows. Additionally, being built in the late 1960s, the pump station is <br />now reaching the end of its useful life. Therefore, the City of Pleasanton (City) desires to <br />rehabilitate the pump station to improve pumping reliability and capacity for future wet weather <br />flows. _ <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />1.0 Project Management and Meetings: <br />1.1 Project Management: Carollo Engineers (Engineer) will manage the efforts of the <br />project team members (including sub-consultants), coordinate with <br />representatives of the City and other pertinent agencies, delegate <br />responsibilities, and review work progress. Engineer shall prepare and submit <br />monthly progress summary reports that include updates of project schedule, <br />budget, and completion status of project tasks. <br />Deliverables: <br />• Monthly progress summary reports (electronic). <br />1.2 Project Meetings: Engineer will conduct monthly project status meetings with <br />City. The proposed budget assumes these meetings will be conducted by <br />telephone conference.
