- Preparing preconstruction and monthly progress <br /> reports with photographs and a summary of the <br /> previous month's construction activities. <br /> <br /> - Evaluating the Contractor's monthly pay request <br /> and recommending progress payments. <br /> <br /> - Maintaining daily inspection logs and diaries. <br /> We will provide a record of the daily work <br /> progress, problems encountered, and actions <br /> initiated. <br /> <br /> - Maintaining project records. We will implement <br /> a format, filing, and retrieval systems for <br /> project files. <br /> <br /> - Processing change orders, Contractor clarifica- <br /> ~tions, and requests for information. <br /> <br /> - Coordinating the activities of a material <br /> testing laboratory hired by the City. The <br /> material laboratory is required for soil com- <br /> paction testing, preparation and testing of <br /> concrete cylinders, and for asphalt concrete <br /> material testing. <br /> <br /> - Reviewing the Contractor's records of con- <br /> struction and marked progress drawings for <br /> use in preparing the record (as-built) <br /> drawings. The record drawings will be pre- <br /> pared from the information provided by the <br /> Contractor. <br /> <br /> - Evaluating the final project construction and <br /> recommending final acceptance by the City and <br /> payment to the Contractor. <br /> <br />o Sho~'Drawing Review and Submittal Coordination; <br /> Design Clarifications; Change Orders; Claims <br /> Management. <br /> <br /> - Provide the necessary liaison and <br /> coordination between the contractor and the <br /> design staff regarding the design intent and <br /> interpretation of changed conditions. <br /> <br /> - Determine and negotiate the total impact of <br /> proposed changes on the project cost and <br /> schedule. <br /> <br /> - Process the appropriate change order <br /> documents in accordance with the City's <br /> guidelines. <br /> <br /> A-5 <br /> <br /> <br />
