27. Assist the CLIENT in making interim and final <br /> inspections'of the PROJECT. <br /> <br /> 28. At the completion of the PROJECT, prepare a final <br /> project report that summarizes project events and <br /> includes a summary of project expenditures. <br /> <br /> 29. Assist the CLIENT in the startup of the facility, <br /> as requested. <br /> <br />B. CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES <br /> <br /> 1. Assume the role of Construction Manager for the <br /> PROJECT. Perform designated construction manage- <br /> ment duties incidental to completion of the PROJ- <br /> ECT that are further specifically defined in this <br /> AGREEMENT. <br /> <br /> 2. Review specifications, plans, and bid documents <br /> with the CLIENT'S designer, and regulatory agen- <br /> cies as the design and construction progresses. <br /> <br /> 3. Prepare, as designated in the Management Plan, bid <br /> packages for construction contracts and equipment <br /> purchase, based on established project priorities <br /> and sequences. <br /> <br /> 4. Consult with the design consultant on the cost and <br /> availability of equipment, materials, and other <br /> resources required for construction. <br /> <br /> 5. Consult with the design consultants, as required, <br /> on construction techniques. <br /> <br /> 6. Coordinate the work of the CLIENT, Consultants, <br /> and Contractors relative to scheduling the project <br /> work. Monitor design and construction schedules <br /> and progress. <br /> <br /> 7. In behalf of CLIENT, solicit, receive, and tabu- <br /> late construction and/or materials proposals. <br /> Analyze bid results, recommend contract awards, <br /> and prepare contracts. <br /> <br /> 8. Implement established procedures for purchase of <br /> equipment or materials items as identified by the <br /> CLIENT, or as recommended by the consultant, and <br /> approved by the CLIENT. <br /> <br /> 9. Establish and keep current necessary delivery <br /> schedules, inventory control systems, construction <br /> records, and construction measurement records. <br /> Establish from these records the amounts of any <br /> <br />SJR1/057 -4- <br /> <br /> <br />
