19. Work with the CLIENT to identify, review, analyze, <br /> and approve or reject change order proposals. <br /> <br /> 20. Develop and recommend to the CLIENT a claims miti- <br /> gation and management system. Work with the <br /> CLIENT to implement the system. <br /> <br /> 21. Consult with the CLIENT and the designer on the <br /> availability of materials, equipment, and alterna- <br /> tive construction techniques. <br /> <br /> 22. Assist the CLIENT and the construction management <br /> staff in reviewing and analyzing construction and/ <br /> or materials proposals. <br /> <br /> 23. Meet with the project staff and with the CLIENT to <br /> coordinate the performance of the various parts of <br /> the work, to expedite material deliveries, to <br /> mainGain planned project schedules, to secure the <br /> availability of site utility services, and gen- <br /> erally effect management of the PROJECT, as re- <br /> quired, to minimize delays and costs. <br /> <br /> 24. Submit to the CLIENT monthly reports to ensure <br /> that the CLIENT is appraised of conditions affect- <br /> ing the PROJECT. These reports will include, but <br /> not be limited to, the following: <br /> <br /> a. Work accomplished during the period <br /> <br /> b. Work anticipated for the following period <br /> <br /> c. Cash flow projections <br /> <br /> d. Information on materials and equipment deliv- <br /> eries <br /> <br /> e. Change orders <br /> <br /> f. Job problems and corrective actions taken <br /> <br /> 25. Review, approve, and submit to CLIENT recommenda- <br /> tions for payment of the monthly payment requests <br /> of the contractors. <br /> <br /> 26. Review the CONTRACTOR'S coordination and schedul- <br /> ing efforts of inspection bureaus and laboratories <br /> in the inspection and tests of materials used in <br /> the construction; review reports by such labora- <br /> tories or bureaus on the materials tested, and <br /> recommend to the CLIENT any necessary corrective <br /> actions. <br /> <br />SJR1/057 -3- <br /> <br /> <br />
