(3) Within 24 hours maximum response time, with best <br /> efforts for less than 8 hours response, provide <br /> remedial maintenance, as necessary to maintain the <br /> equipment in good operating condition, on an <br /> unscheduled on-call basis. Response time is defined as <br /> the time required for a Multisonics field engineer <br /> and/or replacement assemblies as required to reach the <br /> City's equipment, or designated point of arrival, once <br /> a request for maintenance services has been made. If <br /> such maintenance requires return to Multisonics factory <br /> for repair, freight charges will be borne by <br /> Multisonics. Multisonics shall use its best efforts to <br /> make any remedial repair as quickly as possible. <br /> <br />(4) Provide at no charge to the City, parts or assemblies <br /> as required for the accomplishment of preventive and <br /> remedial maintenance, including replacement of any City <br /> owned spares so used. Any part or assembly replaced <br /> shall become the property of Multisonics. <br /> <br /> (5) Subject to Multisonics' inventory available, provide <br /> spare assemblies as necessary to maintain equipment <br /> operation as remedial maintenance is being made. <br /> <br /> (6) Provide the City with a designated point of contact and <br /> make arrangements for the service representative to <br /> receive requests for service from the City. <br /> <br /> - 3 - <br /> <br /> <br />
