Home Depot, Pleasanton, CA <br />Study Intersections Included in Analysis <br />The proposed project and other development conditions will affect traffic volumes on the <br />nearby street network. To assess changes in traffic conditions associated with the <br />project, the following intersections were identified by the City of Pleasanton for <br />evaluation in this traffic study: <br />1. Santa Rita Road & I-580 EB Ramps /Pimlico Drive <br />2. Santa Rita Road &Stoneridge Drive <br />3. Santa Rita Road & Valley Avenue <br />4. Valley Avenue & Busch Road <br />5. Stanley Boulevard & Valley Avenue / Bernal Avenue <br />6. Bernal Avenue & Vineyard Avenue <br />7. First Street & Vineyard Avenue <br />8. Bernal Avenue & First Street / Sunol Boulevard <br />9. Bernal Avenue & Valley Avenue <br />10. Hopyard Road & Valley Avenue <br />11. Hopyard Road & Owens Drive <br />12. Hopyard Road &Stoneridge Drive <br />Lane Configurations and Traffic Control <br />The roadway lane geometry and traffic control for all scenarios are the same as what <br />was assumed in the Home Depot Shopping Center Traffic Study by Dowling Associates, <br />Inc. <br />WEEKDAY SCENARIOS <br />Existing + Approved Levels of Service at Study Intersections <br />Traffic operations were evaluated at signalized intersections under existing plus <br />approved traffic conditions as seen in Figure 1. Approved projects were consistent with <br />those evaluated in the 2006 Dowling study. <br />Results of the analysis are presented in Table 2, along with the minimum jurisdictional <br />standard for acceptable levels of service (as previously described in Operating <br />Conditions and Criteria).
