No, that signal will be provided with the Oak G~°ove project, but not until signal <br />warrants are met and the Council approves it. <br />• How many trucks and cars will use this store from non-Pleasanton residents? <br />Most delivery trucks and approximately 1 S%- 20% of the customers will originate <br />fi"onz outside Pleasanton. <br />• Will the additional traffic cause the commuters to go back to using Vineyard instead <br />of Stanley? <br />No, am/pm traffic generated by this project would not be signifrcant enough to cause <br />a change in tr"affic patterns. <br />Truck Delivery: <br />• What is the number/frequency/days of the week of delivery trucks serving the site? <br />Break down for delivery tricks for Hoene Depot, Longs, and small shops. <br />Response by Home Depot: The Home Depot receives approximately 20-25 trucks a <br />day, mostly Monday through Fi"iday during the non peak hours. Approximately 40% <br />of deliveries to Home Depot are fi"om Home Depot trucks; the i"enzaining deliveries <br />are fironz vendor owned trucks (i. e. Federal Express, etc.) Long's receives three <br />deliveries per week fi"om brg 1"ig vehicles and several vendor deliveries (Coca Cola, <br />Frito Lay, etc.) per day using smaller trucks. <br />• What types, sizes of trucks would be snaking deliveries for Home Depot, Longs, <br />small shops? <br />Response by Home Depot: Typically, 60% to 70% of Honze Depot trucks are semi- <br />trailers. There are also Garden Center delivery trucks which are typically closed box <br />models approximately 50 ft. in length. Lumber t~°ucks are typically open-air flatbeds <br />that deliver bulk co~zstruction merchandise and lumber. <br />• What is the truck route for trucks coming from the south (Fremont)? <br />Home Depot stated that they do not have a warehouse in the area and its delivery <br />trucks would be coming from the Central Valley. Delivery trucks (as defined below) <br />would most likely take 1-580 to Highway 84 to Stanley Blvd. Regency Centers is in <br />discussions with the new owner of the Hansen property (Legacy Partners) regarding <br />the use of El Charro Road. Delivery trucks coming fi"om the sozzth would either take <br />I-680 to Highway 84 to Stanley Bh~d. or would take 1-680 to 1-580 to Highway 84 to <br />Stanley Blvd. <br />• Applicant should initiate discussions with Vulcan and Hansen concerning use of El <br />Charro Rd. to Busch Rd. regarding delivery truck access. <br />]0 <br />
