City, and evaluate the proposed configuration of the wetland and Mission Creek low-flow
diversion structure design developed under Task 2.
Task 7. Develop Construction Drawings (Mission Creek site) and Technical Specifications,
Mission Creek and Bernal Bridge Mitigation
Once the agencies have informally approved the mitigation plan, we will prepare biddable plans and
specifications for the implementation of the mitigation plans for both sites. Specifications will be
prepared using the City of Pleasanton's format, and will address planting, seeding, grading, site
preparation, irrigation, and maintenance. A formal erosion control plan (e.g. SWPPP) is not
included since the feature will be graded during the dry season.
Subconsultant LTD will develop preliminary construction drawings and technical specifications
for the Mission Creek mitigation wetland, and will circulate the draft plans among the project
team and City of Pleasanton. After receiving feedback from the project team, LTD and Mosaic
will finalize the construction drawings and specifications.
Subconsultant Tanaka Design Group will prepare irrigation plans for both sites, including the
preparation of construction documents at a maximum of two (2) stages of completion (at 100%
and Final) as described below:
A. IRRIGATION PLAN:
We will lay out all piping, valves, sprinklers, controller, backflow preventer, and quick
coupler outlets, for irrigation of all new planting areas, and as required to connect to the
existing irrigation system. If required, we will prepare and provide irrigation details that
are unique from the City of Pleasanton Standard Plans and Specifications. Otherwise the
City of Pleasanton Standard Plans and Specifications will be referenced only and will not
appear on the project documents. The irrigation system will be energized by solar power.
B. SPECIFICATIONS:
If required, we will prepare and provide irrigation specifications that are unique from the
City of Pleasanton Standard Plans and Specifications. Otherwise the City of Pleasanton
Standard Plans and Specifications will be referenced only and will not appear on the
project documents.
C. MEETINGS:
One meeting to resolve project issues or respond to questions has been included in the
budget.
Task 8. Response to Bidder and Contractor Questions
At the City's request, we will respond to questions by prospective bidders and questions that the
selected contractor has about the plans and specifications. We assume that the City will provide
construction staking, full time construction inspection and contract administration services. The
time budgeted for this task is limited; if the City requests additional assistance, we would seek
budget augmentation, or charge to unexpended budget on earlier tasks.
City of Pleasanton/proposal7rev2
