Task 2.0--Conduct Dry Weather Flow Monitoring Program

Conduct a temporary sewer f low mon i tot i ng program to
supplement existing flow data. Install continuous depth/velocity

flow monitors at up to 6 locations for a period of up to 3 weeks
and analyze the flow data. The purpose of the flow monitoring
program is to establish actual peaking factors and unit flow rates.

within the East Amador Valley collection system service area that
are necessary for hydraulic sizing of the pumping station.

Task 3.0--Define Design Flows

Review available pertinent previous reports supplied by the
City including the "Sewer Master Plan for City of Pleasanton,
January 1986," and define specific design flow capacities for the
combined pumping station.

Task 4.0--Develop Recommended Site Layout and
Anal~;ze Available Locations

Develop a recommended site layout for the pumping station
and analyze and rank available 1Oca tions for siting the pumping
station. Identify land ownership and possible easement, right of
way, and permit requirements.

Task 5.0--Develop Pumping Station Configuration

Develop preliminary architectural, structural, mechanical,
electrical, instrumentation and HVAC layouts and schematics.
Identify overflow protection systems such as dual electrical power
supplies from PGandE and Dublin San Ramon Services District power
generation facilities.

Exhibit A
City of Pleasanton
May 12, 1987
