EXHIBIT A <br /> <br /> PROPOSED SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> PREDESIGN REPORT <br /> <br /> EAST AMADOR VALLEY COMBINED FLOW PUMPING STATION <br /> <br /> I t was de termined in the report prepared by Brown and <br />Caldwell for the City of Pleasanton (City) titled "Pumping Alter- <br />natives for East Amador Sewage Flows, January 1986," that a single <br />combined flow pumping station was the most cost-effective approach <br />to handling the flows from the existing East Areadot-Pumping Station <br />and from Pleasanton's new East Amador trunk sewer. The purpose of <br />the Predesign Report is to provide preliminary engineering design <br />information and to update previous cost estimates. The results of <br />the Predesign Report would be suitable for the City of Pleasanton <br />to make necessary decisions that would allow detailed design of the <br />project to proceed. <br /> <br />I. PLANNED ENGINEERING SERVICES <br /> <br /> The following tasks constitute ..planned engineering <br />serv ices. <br /> <br />Task 1.0--Review Available Background Information <br /> <br /> Review available information provided by the City relative <br />to the design of the subject project.
