Resolution No. 87-224 <br />Page Two <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council denies the appeal of Case <br /> AP-87-10 (UP-87-6) and therefore upholds the <br /> decision of the Planning Commission approving this <br /> application for a conditional use permit to operate <br /> the Game Station at 4301 Valley Avenue for a period <br /> of ninety (90) days subject to the following <br /> conditions: <br /> <br /> 1. That the applicant shall provide additional <br /> lighting in the parking area of the subject <br /> property if determined necessary by the Police <br /> Department. This lighting shall be installed <br /> at the applicant's expense and shall be for <br /> the purpose of allowing proper surveillance of <br /> the subject property by the Police <br /> Department. <br /> <br /> 2. That at least one adult supervisor shall be on <br /> duty on the premises at all times. After 6:00 <br /> p.m. there shall be at least two adult <br /> supervisors on duty on the premises on <br /> Fridays, Saturdays, and preholidays; a <br /> security guard may qualify as one adult <br /> supervisor. <br /> <br /> 3. That if determined necessary by the' Chief of <br /> Police, the applicant shall employ an <br /> additional security guard to patrol the <br /> parking area of the subject property in order <br /> to discourage loitering. <br /> <br /> <br />
