If Developer installs on the project site a deep well useable <br />for fire service backup in the 2dorth Pleasanton area, or over- <br />sized water mains, or any other water facilities which are both <br />in excess of the capacity required for the project site alone <br />and create a reduction in the cost of the new water .facilities <br />necessary for the I~lorth Pleasanton. area, the Developer will be <br />credited for such reduction and/or, if permissible under the.. <br />financing mechanism selected by the City, directly reimbursed <br />therefor. <br />IV. FIRE SERVICE STUDY <br />Developer agrees to participate in the funding of a study <br />of the fire service requirements made necessary by the subject <br />project and other major commercial/industrial projects in order <br />to maintain existing .levels of fire service in accordance with <br />City's General Plan policies, said study being in progress at <br />this time. The Developer's share of the total cost of the study <br />shall be determined by the City ?'~Zanager, but shall not exceed <br />$ 7,500 ~~ Developer shall nay to the City the Developer`s <br />share of the total cost within one (l) month of notification <br />by the_City Manager of demand for payment and the amount thereof. <br />V. FIRE SERVICE E.EQUIP.EMEI]TS <br />Developer agrees to participate in the financing of the fire <br />apparatus, manpower, and other fire safety facilities required <br />to serve the subject project or made necessary due to the <br />cumulative development of major commercial/industrial projects. <br />Fire apparatus, manpower and other facilities necessary shall be <br />those identified as required to maintain existing levels of <br />fire service in the above-mentioned study and as deemed <br />-4- <br />
