II. WATE~2 SERVICE STUDY <br />Developer agrees to participate in the funding of a compre- <br />hensive water study of the Tdorth Pleasanton area designed to <br />identify short- -and Ong-term improvements necessary to achieve <br />adequate water supply and pressure, said study being in progress <br />at this time. The Developer's share of the total cost of the <br />study may be made a part of a subsequent assessment district, <br />at the discretion of the City. In the event said study. costs <br />are not made a part of an assessment district, Developer shall <br />pay to the City the Developer`U~~are of the total cost, an <br />amount not to exceed $ S,OOQ~_, within one month of notifica- <br />tion by the City Engineer of demand for payment and the amount <br />thereof. - <br />III. WATER SERVICE IP•1PP.OVE~'IENTS <br />Developer agrees to pay his share of the cost of the water <br />facilities necessary to serve the subject site or made necessary <br />due to the cumulative development of the. North Pleasanton area> <br />Water facilities necessary shall be those identified as short- <br />and long-term improvements identified in the above-mentioned <br />study and as deemed necessary by the City Engineer. Developer <br />agrees to participate in the funding of such improvements in <br />whichever manner best achieves timely completion of such ~:mprove- <br />ments concurrent with the. development of the subject site. The <br />City may require funding by (1) assessment district or districts <br />in which Developer agrees to place the subject site; (2) benefit <br />district proceedings; or (3) any other mechanism or combination <br />of mechanisms determined necessary by the City Engineer and/or <br />the City Attorney. <br />_~~ <br />
