ROLL CALL VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Commissioners Blank, Fox, O’Connor, and Olson. <br />NOES: None. <br />ABSTAIN: Commissioner Pearce. <br />RECUSED: None. <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Narum. <br /> <br />The motion passed. <br /> <br />Chairperson Fox suggested follow-up reports regarding parts of town that have <br />deficiencies with respect to bicycle and pedestrian issues. <br /> <br />In response to an inquiry by Chairperson Fox regarding how the Planning Commissioners <br />may proceed in communicating with Commissioner Pearce regarding this committee, <br />Ms. Harryman recommended that any communications be sent to Ms. Decker, who <br />would then forward them to the Commissioners. <br /> <br />TOD Housing <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Connor noted that he had read several articles about people in Dublin <br />who were considered to live in transit-oriented development (TOD) housing because they <br />were close to BART and that they were complaining about not having enough parking. <br />He requested staff to get specific information regarding the amount of parking spaces <br />available in the Dublin TOD project. He also requested clarification regarding how far <br />homes must be from the station to be considered TOD housing. <br /> <br />8. MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW/ACTION <br /> <br />a. Future Planning Calendar <br /> <br />Ms. Decker advised that the Joint City Council-Planning Commission Workshop on the <br />Staples Ranch Project, scheduled for Thursday, October 4, 2007, has been continued. <br />She noted that November 8 was a possible date and that staff would inform the Planning <br />Commission when that is confirmed. <br /> <br />In response to an inquiry by Chairperson Fox regarding the 300 Neal Street application, <br />Ms. Decker replied that the PUD application had been withdrawn by the applicant. The <br />conditional use permit application is still undergoing discussion with the neighbors and <br />would eventually be brought back to the Planning Commission after negotiations had <br />been completed. <br /> <br />With respect to the 55 West Angela Street application, Chairperson Fox inquired what <br />was considered to be a PUD major modification versus a PUD minor modification. <br />Ms. Decker explained that 55 West Angela was a Planned Unit Development and that <br />this particular building was added onto the site, which went through the design review <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES September 26, 2007 Page 18 of 20 <br /> <br /> <br />
