Task 3-2: Design Criteria and PS&E Mockup <br /> <br />A Civil Design Criteria Report and P,S&E mockup will be pre- <br />pared to provide a clear understanding between the Cities of <br />Pleasanton and Dublin, Caltrans, and CH2M HILL of the design <br />requirements, format, content, and magnitude of the project. <br /> <br />Subtask 3-2.1: Civil Design Criteria Report. Project design <br />criteria will be developed as part of this subtask. The <br />criteria will be published in a Civil Design Criteria Report. <br />Five (5) copies of the Draft Civil Design Criteria Report <br />will be submitted to Caltrans and one (1) copy to the Cities <br />for concurrent review. Upon receipt of the review comments, <br />the draft report will be revised and reissued to Caltrans <br />and the Cities. Five (5) copies of the Final Civil Design <br />Criteria Report will be provided to the Cities and ten (10) <br />copies will be provided to Caltrans. <br /> <br />Subtask 3-2.2: Plan and Specification Mockup. A set of <br />mockup plans will be prepared. These plans will illustrate <br />the types of plan sheets, content of each sheet, and will <br />contain the approximate number of sheets required for the <br />Final P,S&E. Quantity sheets and schedules will be mocked <br />up or examples provided to illustrate the format, content, <br />and level of detail proposed for the plans. An outline of <br />the anticipated special provisions will be provided. <br /> <br />The Plan mockup will be formatted on ll-inch-by-17-inch <br />sheets. One set will be submitted to Caltrans and another <br />set to the Cities for concurrent review, comment, and <br />approval. <br /> <br /> 10 <br /> <br /> <br />
