Caltrans and the .City will work closely together in every res- <br />pect toward completing Federal and State environmental clearance <br />and designing and constructing the locally funded improvements. <br />2. All phases of the project, from inception through construction, <br />whether accomplished by the City or by Caltrans, will be devel- <br />oped in accordance with policies, procedures, practices, stand- <br />ards and regulations that apply to Caltrans. <br />3. Caltrans is not obligated for any cash expenditures. All cash <br />expenditures will be borne by others. <br />4. All cooperative efforts and reviews by Caltrans personnel through <br />approval of the PSR will be at no cost to the City. All of <br />Caltrans' project-related costs after approval of the PSR will be <br />at City's expense. It is expected that these costs will not ex- <br />ceed $50,000 for the work covered by this MOU. This amount will <br />not be exceeded by Caltrans without prior discussions with the <br />City. <br />-3- <br />
