3. Potential for project land uses to cause adverse noise impacts off- or on the site <br />Finding. The City finds that the following mitigation measures are feasible and have <br />been incorporated into the Specific Plan, thereby mitigating the impacts to a <br />less-than-significant level: <br />• Reasonable regulation of hours for noise generating activities should be <br />established and maintained. <br />• The child care facility (sub-area 5) should be designed so as to reduce <br />noise impacts at adjacent residences. Prior to construction of a child care <br />facility, an acoustical study should be conducted by a qualified acoustical <br />consultant to ensure that noise levels do not result in significant noise <br />increases at adjacent uses. <br />Operation of agricultural equipment located within 200 feet of noise <br />sensitive uses (such as residences) should be limited to between the hours <br />of 8:00 am and 8:00 pm daily, except Sundays and holidays, when <br />activities should be limited to between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm. All <br />stationazy maintenance equipment should be located as far as reasonable <br />from adjacent noise sensitive uses. <br />Specific Plan, p. 69-72; DEIR, p. 111. <br />4. Potential adverse noise effects of construction activities <br />Findin .The City finds that the following mitigation measures are feasible and have <br />been incorporated into the Specific Plan, thereby mitigating the impact to a <br />less-than-significant level: <br />• Construction equipment should be well-maintained and used judiciously <br />to be as quiet as practical. <br />• Construction activities shall take place only at hours consisted with <br />Pleasanton noise regulations. <br />A "construction liaison" should be designated who would be responsible <br />for responding to any local complaints about construction noise. <br />Specific Plan, p. 69-72; DEIR, pp. 112. <br />Open Space <br />No significant adverse impacts <br />Population and Housine <br />No significant adverse impacts <br />Public Services (Police.
